Tempelgarten Restaurant & Cafe - Neuruppin

The restaurant in the Tempelgarten villa in Neuruppin is designed as a refined integration of historic Orientalist architecture and contemporary European elegance. The concept draws from the 19th-century transformation of the site, when Carl von Diebitsch contributed to the creation of distinctive structures, including the villa itself, characterized by ornamental detailing and exotic architectural influences.

The design preserves and highlights these elements, maintaining the villa’s historic character while introducing a restrained modern language. Soft, neutral materials and precise detailing complement the existing architecture, allowing decorative features and proportions to remain the focal point.

Subtle references to the surrounding garden—its Baroque sculptures and curated botanical setting—are reflected in the interior through balanced compositions and refined textures. The result is a cohesive space where historic ornament and modern clarity coexist without excess.
